Arsenal- Finished 8th in 2020/2021 Season on 61 points.
Last season Arsenal endured a dismal campaign and in truth it was no surprise given the declining road the club has fallen into in the last couple of seasons. Replacing Wenger seems a long time ago and since then Arsenal have failed to finish in the top 4 in the last 5 seasons. The last time they achieved that they finished second, 10 points behind Leicester, so the downfall has been massive. Achieving a seat at the Champions League table is of paramount importance to Arsenal's revival and Mikel Arteta will hope he can finally deliver this time around. There will be huge expectation on talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who massively underperformed last season. Last season Aubameyang scored just 10 goals whereas in the previous 2 seasons he notched up 44 goals in the league, winning the golden boot in 2019 alongside Liverpool's duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. New man Ben White arrives at the Emirates with a hefty price tag but an even bigger expectation on his young shoulders. His arrival will hopefully patch up Arsenal's leaky defense. The race for the top 4 seems to get more competitive each season so Arsenal will need that extra yard in order to fend off their competitors.
